My unofficial definition of SEO (search engine optimisation) is to tinker with your website and promote its content in numerous different ways with the aim of ranking it higher in Google and other search engines for relevant keywords, in order to generate more quality traffic for your website.
But it’s also much more than that, it’s a long-term play to generate ongoing, consistent and relevant incoming traffic which will just keep on coming in. It fits great with my personal ethos of choosing long-term over short-term – which is one of the reasons I choose to specialise in it.
